Happy Halloween

It was Kyson's 2nd Halloween, and still he doesn't care about dressing up or the candy that he gets from strangers. There is no other day in the year when people can dress up like idiots and ring people's doorbells asking for candy. Someday he'll understand how glorious this idea is. We went to a few people's houses: each of our parents' and our siblings'. We only have one sibling each, so it was a total of 4 houses. But those 4 houses with drive time and short visits took nearly three hours. Because we didn't get back until 8:00, the 5 neighbors we wanted to visit had their lights off. When we came back and turned on our porch light, we only had 3 groups of trick-or-treaters. Needless to say, we'll be munching on candy for some time because we didn't give hardly any out and we bought a ton.

Kyson was a hit with the family. My sister nearly peed her pants when she saw him. The pictures of his really don't do justice. At Rusty and Amy's house it was difficult to get pictures of everyone. Collin was Yoda, Avery was a Jedi, and Blake wouldn't dress up. I tried to get a good picture of Avery, but he kept putting his light saber in front of his face.

What a cute costume! And what a silly time of year...I agree with you! Going to strangers houses to get candy doesn't seem all that smart!
Well, you have me a bit worried with your comment, "the circumstances surrounding my life right now..." Hope all is well and I'll be watching for that update. Love ya!

Cute pictures--I am in the same boat with Halloween candy. I actually got no trick-or-treaters at all, and being in a new area and wanting to be prepared, I think I purchased six or seven bags of it. I am hoping to give it away somehow...no way that is going to be lying around the house.

Super cute...I love that you have a blog...I do have a question...since I am new at this blogging thing, how did you get your pictures centered, and left and right justified with text all around them? I thought you could only choose right, center or left. Share your information. I LOVE learning new things on this blog. I don't like boring one sided pictures...you know what I mean?

I just saw "marnie" made a comment...is that Marnie from LEA? It doesn't show a profile, so I don't know if she has a blog I can look at or not...

I'm not sure if you are into the "tagging" thing, but I tagged you on my blog...good luck!
